ABOUT THE CHOIR

WHAM JAM THANK YOU MA'AM BEGAN IN 2007 as a sister choir to Jam Tarts, for people who wanted to sing during the day and is now a well-established community choir of around 40 lively and friendly individuals. Wham Jam perform several times a year, usually to raise funds for all of the choirs' adopted charity, New Note Orchestra.  Their current repertoire includes songs by Kaiser Chiefs, The Smiths, Nick Cave, Bat For Lashes and Lou Reed. Favourite venues have included The Old Market in Hove, and Sallis Benney Theatre in Brighton. The emphasis is on having fun, and no auditions are involved. All agree it's a life-enhancing experience!
